It is a mix of black sand and the Eco-Complete Cichlid Substrate called Ivory Coast Sand with aragonite as the main ingredient.

Yeah, take it easy, bro. You know, maybe a coincidence but I couldn't work during the whole Thanksgiving week. I had to go to the hospital with a huge back pain and X rays showed a muscular spasm and a bulged vertebral disc. I'm OK now after a few days using strong meds.

Last update about the bloated multie: After 48 hours in the Epsom salt treatment and without eating, there is only 1/4 of the original bloating in the fish. The multie also ate well the spirulina flakes. I hope the progress continues.

Sorry to hear that efors, hopefully it'll go away, I've had some weird experience with my brevis, I'm down to 2 from 6 or 7, some just died, other got bloated (possibly dropsey) and died, right now I believe one is a female, who's in a great shape, one is a male, who's while still seems to be fine, spends most of his time just sitting on the bottom (maybe a swim bladder issue, I'm not too sure), still swims up whenever I feed them, but definitely has a hard time staying afloat, idk I've had the worst luck with tangs so far.

Sorry I have been so silly, ibr3ak; but now I saw your post for the very first time :shakehead:!!! I feel sad about your experience with tangs, man!
About my bloated multie, it is fully recovered now; so the Epsom salt treatment apparently worked. I saved an acei a year ago using it too. Thanks for reminding me this kind of treatment, just1moretank!
