Whenever I see a mantis, I think of this:

I saw it on MST3K once, the best scene was the sped-up film of eskimos running to their canoes to get away from it. The director liked the footage so much he put it in twice. :laugh: It's a great B movie if you're into that sort of thing. I am.

Mantises are indeed way cool. I don't think I've ever photographed any. I did shoot some photos of a big spider in its web yesterday. Still waiting for the results, maybe I'll post one or two if they come out ok.
