So I was looking under my tank to check root developement (I changed the substrate about 1 month ago. Everything is fine. So then I started snooping in my wet/dry checking for snails and how everything else is going and I see 5 tiny orange fish. My platties had babies. They got sucked into my wet dry filter, so I had to do some major work to get them out. What a pain.

it probably save them from being eaten and there was enough matter in there for them to feed on to keep them alive. Hoep you raise them and let them back into your population.
