qwhat do you think.. i figure what a loss can 5 dollar be if this thing is not buffable .. but if it is.. can someone with buffing experience let me know how to get this done. what do i use to buff it out..

i called a shop and they want 50 per hour to buff... thanks but no thanks..
i will do it myself. ( i hope).

do i need power tools? can i simply use elbow grease? what gel or mixture do i get at home depot to buff out the imperfections ?

You cant beat ebay now for excellent deals on aquarium stuff. Last night I waited until the last 11 seconds before the auction ended and sniped in and got a brand new still wrapped up wet dry filer for a 125 gal tank got it for 12.50 + 15.00 shipping sure cant get that deal in my area included the over flow and tubing all I have to add is the return pump which I already have. This is the 3rd wet dry I have bought for under 30.00 including shipping. I LOVE EBAY )
