Thanks for the comments all, I didn't that many people to like the wild contrasts. All I can say is "where but for the Grace of God" could I do something like that. A year ago I didn't know one end of a hammer from the other. Started working for a friend in a new cabinet shop and he's taught me more than I ever knew possible.

Lila, as far as the bunkbeds, my boss is building a nice, standard issue bunkbed out of solid Ash hardwood, looks real nice. Has taken him forever though, but it's gonna be nice. I'd love to make one for you, but seems like were a thousand or so miles between us! Willing to pick it up? :joke:

Actually, Lila, I could probably find you a good woodworker to build you one. If so, tell me what major city you're near and I'll post it on a site called WoodWeb. It's only for industrial woodworkers, so if you post there asking for a builder they may delete you. They won't delete me since they are familiar seeing me there asking goofy rookie questions.
