Looking at your aquarium..far or closely?

Very close! My face literally blend into the glass when I observe my fishes.

Usually, I look at my tanks from a distance. (2-3 ft)
I like looking at the entire scape and the fish roaming about doing their thing. Getting up close 'freaks out' some fish resulting in their hiding or acting unnatural.
The only time I get up close is when I'm trying to see something specifically and need to get up close to get a better look at it.
I guess that makes me a 'big picture' kind of guy.

Definitely both. I like to sit back on the couch and watch the full-wall display, and just let me eyes wander from tank to tank depending on what is going on in each. Usually I end up getting up and giving each tank a close inspection as well.

Yeah, I like to get my head right up against the glass (!) - including, if I can, on the sides that I don't normally see it from.

When I clean the glass I have to wipe off the water marks and the marks from my nose.
