Looking for a colorful pleco

im sure if you were to dig around enough on the net you could find some supplier or breeder of zebras. its not like the fish doesnt exist.

Tando Murphy, I have been to the site a few times, but still have yet to see any Zebras available.

well the thread didnt say "where can i get cheap plecos", it just said "where can i get pretty plecos". no max $ was listed so i said zebras. that site also has "false" zebras which are 25$ and look almost as interesting.

I am still on the search to beat that $69.99 + $34 (shipping). I know I'll find some breeder or someone somewhere. I can get so many different kinds of plecos, but he is the treasure... .

If i was going to get a gold nugget I don't think I'd get it mail order. They're more fragile than most and I'd definitely want to see it eating before I gave any money at all. Let the lfs take the pain of whole batches dying (which seems to be the most common situation)

That's the thing. I work at an aquarium store and I know every other major store in town and no one can get the Zebra . If I order him online I'll post and let everyone know my experience. For $103 I better get a @#&$%* guarantee .
