Hello all, I'm looking for a GOOD gravel vac that has some REAL suction, not the weak suction that the ol' faucet tube provides. Does anyone know of one that I can purchase somewhere?

If you access to an outside faucet, run a garden hose to your sink and hook the python to the garden hose. I do this when I need get very strong suction. I don't refill through the garden hose though.

I siphon my larger tanks w/ a 7' length of 1" ID tubing into 55g drums - the suctions force is something fierce.

I then pump the water from the drums out onto the lawn or down the drain.

I use the cheapest gravel vac in the catalog, the one wiht just a big end and a 6' hose. Combine that with a 20 gallon bucket and you have all the suction you need. Just remember to stop at about 15 gallons so you can drag the bucket outside, 20 gallons is way to heavy and tends to slosh out.
