Looking for a tank in maine

Ok, well im pretty mad now I have been saving for a 55 since november, I went to get like a filter and heater for one the other day and my mom told me I couldnt get a big tank! I asked why and she said multiple reasons
One was mess, just cause I had some aquarium salt sitting on the bathrom counter, she said there would be even more things like that, it was only one thing!!!!!
Then she said electricity, I make enough money a month that I could pay for the electricity for my tank!
I told her I need a bigger tnak for my swordtails because I had bought them with the missunderstanding that they only got to 2 inches, but once I found out for real she said I could get a bigger tank!

But anyway, I should be able to get at least a 20 gallon long if I can find a good deal, cause another reason was she didnt want me wasting all my money of fish. So if anyone has any 20 gallon long tanks preferably with a cover, I would love it.

hey i live in central vt ive got a few tanks ive got 2 10s 1 20gal 1 30gal 2 55gal 1 90gal and 1 125gal i would consider selling the 20 with complete set up for like around 65 and ill meet half way if your willing to give a few bucks for gas....also id be willing to sell the 90gal with metal stand for 110 with nothing and also willing to meet half way if you give me a few bucks for gas just let me know what you think ok

I checked the Maine Craiglist and there is absolutely no descent priced aquariums. I feel fortunate to live in Houston were there is at least 5 aquariums posted per day. I just missed out on a FREE 55 Gallon with stand.
Anyway, I wish I could help more. I can sympathize with you because I used to live in Maine a very long time ago!!!
