Looking for good sandwich ideas!

God you guys are making me hungry. Awesome ideas! Here's one:
Tuna Ahi Filet - Med rare to rare tuna filet
Fresh Arugala
Seedless Red Grapes - halved
Red Onions
Sesame Ginger Dressing
Sesame Roll

The sweetness of the grapes balances the pepperiness of the arugula. Great Sandwich.

Keep them coming guys and girls. Some great creative sandwiches. Me hungry.

The father of my good girlfriend has owned a great deli in L.I. for forever and whenever we go to the beach we go there and she makes:
raisin sourdough
rosted honey ham
rosted honey turkey
shredded lettuce
red onions
vine tomato slices
honey mustard spread with cranberries!!!

UMMmmmmmmm.

Cuban Snadwich is a favorite of mine. You'll need:

Pork
Ham
Swiss Cheese
Roll (preferably french, or if you can find it, cuban)
Yellow Mustard
Dill Pickle slices

All of that goes into the Cuban (or french) roll, and voila, deliciousness ensues.

Flat bread, just warmed, smear of plain Greek yogurt. Cucumber strips, red onion, leafy green or red luttuce, and sliced turkey. Warming the flat bread up helps!

Flat bread, peanut butter and cheddar cheese.

Flat bread, hummus, mozzarella cheese melted on top, chopped tomatoes, sprouts and onions.

Flat bread, red pepper paste, feta cheese, broiled about 4 minutes.

I don't really use regular bread anymore. I'll have a good loaf of sourdough or Sheppard's to eat with cheese, if they have the small loaves at the Farmer's Market, but that's about it. Flat bread lasts longer, and has a better flavor and fewer calories.

if you decide to make a no meat sandwich, I might have suggestions.

We call those "salads" where I come from.

Hey, Zen didn't specify that it had to be meat, so suggest away FC.

My favs:

#1.French baguette/smoked ham/brie or camembert cheese/dijon mustard

#2.Foccaccia bread/turkey &/or prociutto/provalone cheese/pesto spread/fresh greens or even fresh basil leaves (they use basil leaves instead of lettuce in Italy, it's awesome)

#3.Multi grain-raisin bread/swiss cheese/Indian chutney

All these are really best if you toast them in a sandwich press for a few minutes...

Mexi-burger

White bun w/sesame seeds - toasted
1/2 lb Angus beef patty - medium/well
Slice of cheddar
big spoonful of pico de gallo
Big dollop of miracle whip on both buns
