Looking for Snails

Just traveled 45 miles to a fish store today to get a new testing kit. And you wont travel over 6. I would ride my bike that far if I had to. I had a 55 one time that I stocked while I was working on my car. I rode my bike 10 miles each way to stock the fish after it cycled. I had them put on Oxigen and made sure I followed a smoth path. Oh yea this was a saltwater tank with very fragile fish. All survived the ride and the tank flurished for over a year at that location. I then moved the tank to my aunts 80 miles from there and they survived tell she poisened them off :sad:. She didn't test test test like I told her 2.

And I have walked 20 miles in the snow barefooted uphill both ways....geeze....6 miles

Just kidding, but seriously my favorite LFS is 15 miles away or so and I have one within a mile of my house but still travel to the better one. 6 miles is about 10 mins in a car so I am assuming you are too young to drive. Everyone knows that kids nowadays dont ride their bike further than up the block lol. Anyhoot....i would go with the rainbowsnails website. Their snails are priced well and you can pick from a large variety of colors and the brig snails dont eat your plants, however, if you do get the apple snails aka. brigs, make sure you supplement feed them with fresh veggies and such and they wont multiply on their own, they do need 2 to breed.

I frequently visit LFS that are roughly 60-75 miles from my house. But I also commute that every day. :joke:

haha acually im old enough for a junior licence but cant afford a car yet. my bike was broken by a couple of kids when i got into a fight years ago and didnt feel like getting a bike anymore. and as for the snails, i ordered them from Wilma Duncan. http://www.jayscustomcomputers.com/wilma/

There should be a couple PetSmarts within the vicinity.. they always have snails. Would it be possible for your parents to drive you?
