i am looking for some ideas on some SA cichlids for a possible 75gal tank. i am not that familiar with cichlids but i would like to have a wide variety of colors something like blue, orange, yellow, green and black. i am looking at south american because they will be sharing a home with my rainbow shark and i understand that SA might be ok with this. if anyone has an idea just shoot me some names. thanks

You could do a nice size colony of bolivian rams or GBR in there (GBR only if you're pretty experienced in maintaining water quality as they're quite sensitive). If you're open to CA cichlids, you could do a colony of rainbow cichlids, they're quite colorful. Firemouths would be another option.

SA's

Some of the wild strain Keyhole cichlids are showing some nice coloring and peaceful tankmates

You're asking a lot; you want several cichlids to share a tank peacefully, and you want a variety of colors. It's a 75g, so you can't go too big. If you can tolerate a mixture of SA and CA, you can try Honduran red points for blue, multispinosa for yellow (and there is an orange variant as well). For red you could try a super-red severum, but it might get too big for the others - Or a firemouth. Firemouth might be the best way, but they can be bullies. Lots of ways to go for green; some kind of peaceful and smallish eartheater maybe. Best I can do.
