Looking into heat and info on them.
If you have some, know where to get them, and suggestions or instructions for them; let me know. Want to try shipping some items to family for practice packing.
Thanks

jmm197, you left us no link or anything?

hello again guppymonkey, I believe we've just recently talked :)

I get my heatpacks in bulk from ebay. Its the best deal i've found but with buying them in bulk ( i believe its only like 10 heatpacks i get at a time?) they still end up costing me around $2/pack.

As far as any suggestions or instructions for them:
the heatpacks have a red line going down the middle of them, this red line must have access to air at all times as its the chemical reaction between the air and the packs contents that makes the pack heat up. If you package it with things against the red line (for example, a plastic bag full of water, holding fish) it may not allow that red line to be exposed to enough air to keep the heatpack working. Its also important that you double-bag all/any orders that contain water, if the heatpack gets wet, it will no longer work.

More information is on the bags themselves

I get mine from Red Crane at Alabama Aquatics. Great guy. I believe I pay 1.69 each for as many as I want, 1 or 100. Good luck. And his shipping is priced the most reasonable, too.
