Have not seen too many peacock gudgeon's for sale, I was wondering if they are in different color variations, the most I have seen were the blue/greenish shade, but once I saw a male that was on the redish/yellowish side.
Are there several different types of peacock gudgeon's and has anyone had luck keeping them in a community tank?

Peacock gudgeons aren't anabantoids. They belong to the Eleotridae family which is the same that gobies do, so this is posted in the wrong place. They get along with rainbowfish quite well. They are peaceful and I've seen them in community tanks. I'm certain there's a variety of different color morphs depending on the locale they are from. I've see the reddish/yellowish ones as well.
