just brought fish home from a friend house[he gave the parahnas to me]and we never took the fish out of the tank just took most of the water out of the tank,got them home add the water and then less than an hour there were dead,can someone tell me what went wrong?

Also you need to add a water conditioner to take out the the harmful things in tap water... do you have a filter and heater??? Is the tank set up at all?? There is a lot that we need to know about what you have before we can help you out. Try reading these links and then post back with questions.
