If you plan on keeping "TROPICAL" fish then you will need a heater. Do some reading and then post up with EXACTLY (names, model #, etc..) with what you have.
There is a bunch of things you have to do to keep fish, not just dump them into water. Please read up on these things and get back to us!!

Are you sure its a Piranha? There are a few easier to find fish that look like them.
