LOUD fish

My clowns and my balas make the same noises. They make the loudest sounds when eating shrimp pellets. My aunt once asked me who was banging on my aquarium, lol.

Thanks to slappy's post, now I can see my fish jumping around like those cans of diet pepsi in that one commercial, lol.

I had some juvenile Australian salmon-tail catfish (Arius graeffei) in my bedroom tank for a while, they drove me slowly insane with their constant nocturnal croaking noises, it was near impossible to get sleep.

Anyone else have loud fish? I am upstairs at my house and can hear my balas clicking in the tank downstairs!!! Well, I'm assuming its them, it sounds like the noise they usually make. I kept thinking my dogs were downstairs with a bone, or were trying to get into something :laugh:

my bala does the same thing but only when he's eating. otherwise no noisy fish here

I've not heard any noises from my clowns yet but they've only just started coming out of their hidy holes when I'm around.

I have three zebra loaches and theyre suppose to click, but as of yet, no clicky noises! I wonder why that is?

My fish keep me up all night with their loud music and partying till the crack of dawn. Stupid fish.
