Hi everyone,

I have no luck with low light plants - Java Fern, Anubias and lately Java moss.
1 year ago, I remove java fern out of my tank. My anubias has been growing smaller and smaller (as big leaves have been pruned due to algae). Ordered 5 packets of java moss online and all turned brown after 2 months. Try another locally- this time not going through shipping "Green". Tied thinly to driftwood - 3 weeks later still look green but become thread like. Light is 2wpg - T5HO 12000K - 8 hrs a day. Pressurize CO2. Other M to H light plants are just doing OK - Fert are PMDD premix & phosphate

Please help what I am doing wrong?

possibly too much light for them?

my anubias do better in the lower light sections of my tank

i would move them somewhere they get less light, or to another tank if you have one set up, that could be used as a low tech setup.

It is 75G. I got 156w over the tank. I do not have much experience with moss - Normally how long does it take to recover?

Yeah, the range for "ideal" freshwater plant growing is 6500-10000K, so your 12,000 K might not be the right spectrum for your low light plants. I also would move them into a shady area, just in case.
