Would light from a south facing window behind a fish tank , if the tanks back and sides were painted, would provide enough light for anubias and moss, and algae. the window is an inch above the tank, and I have an open top tank without a light or hood.

Well actually the tank isn't painted yet but, i think it might be low light enough, so ill leave the paint out of the equation for the time being until a lighting bill is affordable for my pocket book, Iam thinking of anubias and moss would do the trick anyother low light plants for my temps 76-86f, sunlight is at its best 10:30 a.m.-1:00pm and the rest of the hours of the day it is similar lighting to dusk. so far the only plant I have is some elodia floating around, so far it seem sto be growing some.

What are some other low maintenance low light platns for my tank hopefully, their is something that will reach 14 inches in length.

Sorry about the confusion.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP:help:

a couple aponogetons (not all species) and mini pellia are also good options if you can keep the others somewhat healthy. mini pellia stays SMALL though and it's not cheap for what you get.
