Do you need to add ferts (like flourish) when you have a low light set up in a 55/65 gl not fully planted for your plants like (java fern, moss, anubia) to do well?
25% planted.

I did when I had a similar low-light set-up... but only because my water was extremely soft and had very little disolved into it... I added trace elements because I believed rightly or wrongly that I was low on them.

I don't think you would NEED to though.

no you do not need to add ferts...unless you notice a deficiency.

I keep plenty of lower light tanks with no issues.

as long as you have low light plants you will be fine.
the live stock should be able to supply most of what is needed.

As long as there are fish and you feed them regularly, then the plants should be fine using the wastes present.

Thanks guys, my water is also soft I am in NY.
I have good stock in the tanks.
When I first got the plants I noticed they were not doing great, then it was recomended to me to use the Flourish, I have been using it for a little over 3 months.
