I second (or third or whatever) dwarf hairgrass. Doesn't require a lot of light if you got your CO2 under control. And it definitely won't get too tall in a 90 gallon. (growing it under 30W in a 15 gallon)

i am growing it really fast right now in a 60 gallon with 2 32w bulbs that are about 2 years old. it should be easy.


midnightmadman hair grass gets to be just about 4 inch. i have some for 3.50 a bunch also have a special for now 10 bunches for $25 if you have trouble finding it.

Dwarf Sags! They are easy & pretty hardy. Unlike a lot of plants that stretch for the light in low light setups this one stays smaller in low light than it does in high light.

dwarf sag (my favorite plant) if you have other high growth "aggressive" plants sharing the space, it can hold its own where as dwarf hairgrass would be destroyed in no time.

if you are doing iwagami style tank, then dwarf hairgrass will be good with 2wpg.

It also depends on your liking, dwarf hairgrass is nice and neat very soft soothing looking, where as dwarf sag has the chaotic natural look and also feels more strong.

After had grown both successfully i much prefer the dwarf sag.
