I'd say skip the CO2 keep the level of light relatively low.

vals would give it a nice look and not too far off base for tidal/estuaries look.

for the most part tho.. marine plants don't look very similar to fw plants

keep a watchful eye on kH levels if using dead coral or find some fake coral..looks real
