lowering ph levels

Just a quick question. I would like to know how I could lower my ph levels in my tanks, without using chemicals. My ph levels in my tanks stay constantly at 8.0, but my tap water I just tested is around 8.6 -9.0. I was going to do a water change, but I'm not sure of how to get my ph down.

The ph may be high b/c of the air in the water. If you let it sit for 24 hours, then dump it in, it should probably be lower. If you wanted to lower the PH in the tanks, driftwood works, as does some other things.
