I have a high ph balance in my tank. It is between 8.0 and 8.2 ppm. I am getting angles and they need a ph of 6.5-7-0. Atleast this is what I have read. I was wondering what is a good way of lowering the ph in a tank. Thanks

Angels should be fine in that PH, it is only when you start to breed them that PH can sometimes become a problem,it is best not to mess with ph if you can. There are more important things to consider , like TDS. I seen angels breed in a high PH before. Are they captive breed or wild?

And just as a note you can lower ph by using RO machines or peat. Peat can be difficult to keep stable. RO is your best bet, mix it with your tap water until the desired ph is reached. But make sure that you leave the water sitting for a day before you measure the ph.
