Hey everyone.
So here I thought I'd get stuck straight in and stick up some photos of my current brackish tank, with mudskipper (having starred in and won the August '08 photo of the month poll) and his archer fish friends. These photos are from a few months - more recently its a lot more messy, but also includes a figure-eight puffer, several bumblebee gobies, and a few nerites. The tank has recently started slowly leaking, so I'm building a new 5ft, with plenty space for the skipper (and probably another) tto make a proper burrow, and a few more inhabitants too. Photos of that will be posted soon.
So the tank shown (when it was young and new) consists of a custom-made island, artificial roots at the left and centre, proper wood at the right, with fake branches on the left and right walls to provide additional "perches" for the skipper, which work very well indeed. Being brackish, plants are mostly Java moss and fern.
Hi-res versions of the photos, including the winning Aug 08 POTM, are here.
