Ok i got my rock in from a carribean company but for some reason some part of the rock are white and looks like there is no life on them. Should that be an issue? Is there something i could do to help or speed up life on the live rock?

my rocks looked similiar to that. just give it some time. in a few weeks - months it will look much better and critters and life will spread as well
No, it is fine, it will cure in your tank and the water circulation will remove from the rock. Its just die-off and will create and ammonia source..

I just bought 200 LBS of LR and it looks about the same (see my thread in general marine) I have pics. What I want to know is how did you get the rock to stay up like that it looks awesome?
Well thanks for the info just hard to deal with these spots.. Well i used some bonding proxy and some crates that are hiding i just adjusted it today
