LR surprise

After over a year with my salt tank I decided last weekend to take it down and convert it to fresh water. When i started it i bought some LR from some one who took their tank down. It had lost all its growth. When i took it out the bottom of all the LR was dark purple. I had actually been doing somthing right! to bad it wont do me any good now.
just thought i would share.

you can give it to someone in your area who has a reef aquarium so he can make good use of it.

Nice. You must have had decent light for the bottoms to get so purple.

actually my lighting kind of sucked. just two coarlife flourescent bulbs. I will use some of it in my 20 im setting up and some in my mantis tank that will be going up with in a month or two.
