Lucky beginner
Hi everyone, I'm Rob and am the lucky recipient of a huge marine set up for the price of FREE!!:)

Yes I know it's a bit of a hard tank to start with but I am very intrested in marine, a fish only tank though. I would like a variety.

Next week I receive a 6'1" tank 28" wide and 30 " deep. I have been given a EHIEM professional II filter (the bigger one), a EHIEM f
pump which shift about 38Ltr a minute, also a Berlin hang on 25 -- 250 gallon skimmer, and two 300w - 240 volt visi - therm heaters.

I do have lighting but have not got the make and model yet.

I could do with as much advice as possible.

Also I have no instruction manuals for any of my equipment, could any one help??:help:

Is this equipment enough for a stable tank ??

Could any one offer any advice over the dressing of my tank.

Or just good advice to a complete beginner?

Thanks,

Rob:dive:

are you able to get pics of everything? Does it come with the livestock as well? Is the tank plumbed for over flow or are you going to have to drill it yourself or buy the overflow boxes? FREE!!! i want more free stuff...lol, anyways, Glad to hear you got this sucker for such a great deal. Once you get the stuff and pics i am sure myself and anyone else on here would be more than happy to help you set it up.

Man, what a deal. Try to get pics up of what you are getting.

Cheers guys, I need to take some stuff appart and clean it all up. Unfortunatly I missed out on live rock and 3 1/2 foot moray eel. Though I think he would have been a little complicated. I would also prefer a bit more of a variety and to keep my fingers intact lol.

Soon as I have picked up the tank and lamps I will post some pictures.
Do think ive done well though, I havent even got to buy anything.

Just a quick one it's a powered filter, I take it that runs itself, and the pump runs the skimmer??

Thanks
