Ludwigia sediodes

What are the requirements for it, I wonder? It looks pretty cool for a pond, but I wonder if you would have to take it in during winter? Many pond plants up here (northern WI) have to be taken in or will freeze out.
 
i think it needs full sun and in the north it is treated as annual (like water hyacinth and water lettuce)

Now if i can grow it upside down in an aquarium :silly:
 
Yes, it is a tropical plant from south america and will not survive freezing temps. If your winters never get below freezing it may last through the winter.

It has been grown in the aquarium, and the stems can be trimmed back. In addition to the attractive foliage, it also has a nice yellow flower
