luminous red shrimp?

hmmm, luminous is far more catchy than cherry.
yep if you have a fancy name then you get to pay 5 extra dollars at my lfs they also have alega eating shrimp and amano shimp and the alage eating shrimp is like 3 dollars more lol

As others have stated, common names are absolutely meaningless. They might as well sell shrimp named "Fred". I read somewhere, sorry I can't remember where right now, that one person had documented over 30 different common names for Neocaridina denticulata sinensis (Red Cherry Shrimp).

What really makes me laugh is on Frank's site he has "Cherry Red Shrimp". Gee, that's not going to cause any confusion with "Crystal Red Shrimp".
