My lutea
I got crypt lutea in a little pot from a mega store and separated the plant bits into 3 stands, each about 3 inches apart. they were small and I thought they might stay that way.
A year later, the lutea is arched across the 29 gallon, from back to front, brushing the surface, with 18 inch long leaves, green and brown olive colored, about 1 inch wide. Each stand has spread but not too much, mostly just thickened to 2.5 diameter, some runners, but not taking over or anything.
I have it in a tank with pH of 7.6 very slow CO2 additions, and 1.8 wpg from an AHS 55 watt CF.
