Madagascar Lace Plant

I have two of these growing very well in my 20g. But one of them has something that is brown and shooting to the top of the water, what is this? It has a little bulb on the end of it, looks as if it may be a flower? But I am not sure if this plant flowers or not

Yes, all Aponogetons do flower, and do so in captivity frequently. I can't remeber if the Lace plants are self-fertile or not.

And somewhere there are some very envious people out there who have struggled just to grow this plant. Congratulations on your flower.

I could grow them at the old house, which was cooler. Here it is too warm for the Lace plants.

My 2 lace plants grow really well and my temp is 78 F all the time.
