To be more specific, I am voting Wiz because of the hope we learn more about others by looking at the past days posts. I'm not 100% sure, more its 60/40 scum maybe 70/30. I'm no more sure of him then Cnote but I feel Cnotes actions are scummier where Wiz is more due to different play style and hiding.

Yes, I want to remain completely anonymous. I think it might be in the rules. If it is not in the rules, then it is the spirit of the rules. You questioning my honesty and trying to portray my actions as such. I have done nothing to indicate any lack of experience in playing mafia. If anything I have pointed out scum tells. When I look at some of the first votes, most of them used the full name. Some even copied and pasted. Why did Wiz post chupa's the whole name when he voted? It looks to me like you made it an issue about me using the full name and did not question anyone else about using nicknames. I think some are posting Wizard instead of Wiz. Why did you want to paint me out to be a noob? If that was not your motive, then why did you want to even ask the question. Now you do not want to talk about it? Since Wiz is not around and you seem to be his number one fan, what else is there to talk about? What bothers me is you trying to say I am not honest based solely on seeds you have planted. How are you not scum?

Aliases aren't used as much as actual user names, thus don't have the tendency to be shortened into nicknames right off the bat. I've already been asked why I didn't question one person for copying/pasting Fire's full name. The difference is that Wiz's nicknames have been well established in recent games and he's played in a lot of them. I don't think I've seen anyone refer to wiz (or wizard) as "the wizard" in any games I remember, thus, it was weird that you did it twice.

I'm not trying to "paint [you] out to be a noob". That would imply that I actually think you are new and am trying to get others to view you the same way. It only came to my attention because it first struck me as odd. I continued with the thought because your subsequent posts had no indication that you were inexperienced. Like I said it has only made me wonder if there is some motive behind why you have posted like that. I regret even bringing it up again because at this point I feel as if it is a non-issue. I wont be using it as a reason to vote for you at this point.

A long and ultimately pointless post hereunder. The key bits are in bold and discussed underneath.

This is the first half of my thoughts so far.



This entire post is actually rather logical and makes sense, if you go on the assumtion that wiz is evil. However, if he isn't, the entire post is one massive blunder and pile of distractions. I do agree that it seems a little too coincidental for wiz's attackers to in turn be attacked, but then it also seems strupid for witches to be so open and bold, even if Wizard is their High Priest fella. So early in the game, revealing their cards now would be foolish and risky, if he was evil they'd be next. However, if he's innocent, they would probably be leaning innocent on most people's lists, and could say "we tried to help him". My response to this idea is that wizard may well be innocent, but both Wing Nut and Doom could very well be evil, and are leaning as such.



I agree with all three of your points here, about how mafia try to vote when they can, especially on day one. I even agree with how your logic implicates wiz, HIIQ, and Doom. However, I also think that you shouldn't write people off simply because they had a somewhat consequential vote on day one. I have to go back and check the voting times, but if there were people who placed a second vote after three votes had been placed on someone else their vote should count on the inconsequential side of this just as much as a first voter.



And what did we learn after you changed your vote, besides the names of 3 now-dead innocents? Your reasons for voting Driver are omgus, low posting, and saying they would change their vote? Only the last one holds any water, IMHO. Especially for a kill vote. However, the last one, that he would be changing his vote, seems logical until you look at the timing. Driver, at that time, still had an hour and 10 minutes to vote.



This post is just so I know where I left off, though I am curious as to why someone would make a post like this, except to up there post count.

First bold bit : Defence of wizard, attack of Doomsday and Wing Nut. And please read the paragraph in question and ask yourself, does it make any sense whatsoever ?

Second bold bit : cosying up to me (the bit of the post in question is a response to one of my earlier long posts). I absolutely get the heebie-jeepies when some low-count posting fictional mexican monster does this. Cosying up = scummy.

OK well aside from the Long Random post which says Wizard may be innocent and that Doomsday and Wing Nut might even be leaned towards scum !!Heavens above Chuppa ! Don't over-extend yourself !

Hmph. The "I'm weak and gonna be voted" thing is sooooo game 50s... I plan to observe and think, not vote erratically.



Does anyone else notice the massive train on Wiz? Anyone else feel that there are definitely some scum hiding in that train? I want to see the case on wiz, and he has been acting differently from his normal innocent game play, but I'm not getting even a single scum vibe from him. I can't say I think he's scum and vote him while still being honest with myself or others.

So, I'll continue to watch and see how events turn out. I WILL vote before nightfall though.

Doomsday, can you just post a list of your current suspects with a brief explanation as to why? Would make a lot of people's lives easier that way.

With everyone on Wizard there are too many ways for evils to hide. If the votes were more spread out we'd learn more about who's siding with who. I also think that using Wizards role as an indicator to the roles of others won't work this game, by the logic I already explained. Never said you were evil, only that it shouldn't be written off simply because you defended wizard. Look at my logic and ask yourself, is it really flawed, or merely cautious? And in light of that, your reaction of trying to discredit everything I said and put me on the sidelines and a captain obvious gives me reason enough to vote you.


I currently suspect everyone of scum. A list of mine includes everyone who isn't me. People who I think are more likely... well, currently Doomsday is the only one.

I vote to burn Doomsday at the stake.

This is a cop out post. 'I suspect everyone except me'. This is not a pro-town post.

I add Chupa to my list of suspects (In no particular order, I would feel strongest about Wizard, Doomsday Hi-IQ, Chupa and C-Note being scum. I also have leanings towards Wing Nut but to a lesser extent).

I write this mostly because I fully expect to get hit tonight. I have read back from the start and I think maelstorm was hit because they were suspect of a few players also. They were super active, but I think they were correct about somethings. Here it is with two hours left and we have 6 players without the common decency to vote yet. One of them is unable to vote due to the spell. I am sure they are not allowed to tell us they are victims to the spell. I would not normally put out a suspect list two hours before day 2 nightfall. This list only means something if Wiz is a witch. If Wiz is innocent and I am still alive, this list will be pointless.

First is Chupa, the vote from Wiz on day one and now today's vote on Doom. Next is Rickets, the vote from Chupa and the lack of a vote at this point. I would also put BadHag on my list as their attempt to somehow save Wiz and get Doom burned. Sort of for the reasons Wiz gave for voting me and not Hammer. I am leaning more and more as Wiz being the top witch. If Wiz is not the top witch, my thoughts on BadHag might change. Another member is c-note. My instincts are that they were defending Wiz and voted me while doing the same thing they accused me of doing. I know, I said first, but my top choice for a witch, if Wiz is a witch, is of course Doom. I would like to think that it is impossible for someone to telegraph their scummyness, but I just do not think Doom could help themselves.

In addition to the complete mess that is this post, I'd like to know why I'm currently the only person who you think is more likely scum. You mentioned both me and wing as possible scum even if Wiz is innocent but you narrowed it down to me based on no clear reasoning. Why, because I'm the one who questioned you?

You told Tree not to wait to post a list, questioned me for not posting a clear list...then turn around and say your own "list" includes everyone. I'm sure that took a lot of thought...

So if I understand correctly your theory is that the scum (mainly BH and Chup) are trying to deflect attention away from Wiz by voting for me, his hypothetical teammate?
