I've been trying what to figure out what to do about this and can't come up with any other safe way to go. Lady G's chant thing is a random "spell" that grants me the power to turn someone. But after trying to make that choice, I'm still not certain who to use it on.
......... any volunteers? (LMAO.)
The turn will be immediate once I post the spell to summon the player I pick as per instructions in the PM..... BUT that has to be done before nightfall or I lose the one-time turn opportunity the random spell gave me.
I've been thinking about this ever since my post after lunch when I got the PM. The best I can come up with is to ask Wingnut to advise me who to turn. With Hammer gone, I trust Wingnut now more than anyone else.
Suggestions are welcome and encouraged. But, for the record, I'd say anyone who opposes Wingnut making this choice for me is a witch themself! So don't even try to fake me out by continuing to raise doubt whether or not Wingnut got turned. I am sure Wingnut is innocent and am confident in that one fact alone. Anyone who suggests or even hints to us that Wingnut is not innocent right now gets my immediate vote for burning.
As for burning me, I don't think it matters anymore. Once I cast the spell I was granted, the turn goes through right away so it won't matter whether I'm dead or alive after that.
Wingnut, I know you don't want to name any of your former teammates and I'm sorry to put you in this position. But ANY wrong guess on my part or me following the wrong advice will hurt the town.

I already stated I wouldn't give out names, I will vote a witch if they have suspicion on them and have a vote already. The best I can do if you all want is vote as Tree votes since he is a known innocent.
I'm not saying Rickets is witch or innocent but remember anyone can get the spells.

The PM I got gave me an option to invoke the incantation by PM to Lady G instead. No one in the thread would have known about it other than me and the turn. (I don't know if the turn would know who turned them or not.)
I liked that idea better at first, actually... but not so much after thinking it over this afternoon/evening. While I wouldn't have had to let everyone know I turned anyone..... it also meant I wouldn't be able to consult with Wingnut in choosing who it will be. Had I said nothing about this, you wouldn't be even more suspicious of me now because of this.. lol. BUT, I just wasn't sure who to pick based on my being wrong too many times for me to safely rely on my judgement alone.
Leaving me to decide this by myself is too risky for us. I would've had to spend the rest of this game worrying if I turned a townie into a witch by picking the wrong name. This game has been too squirley and variable for me to rely THAT much on my own suspect list... so I decided to post the spell out in the open, come what may.
With that now, I've done my part and await direction from Wingnut. You're all welcome to grill me, disbelieve me, whatever else, and even burn me at the stake. This was just the best course of action I feel comfortable with.

Rickets, if you are a townie, why take the risk of using the spell and turning an innocent into scum? Seems like a much better idea to just lose the chance of turning scum into an innocent rather than risk adding to the scum team with a misfire.
