Not sure. What is the point of a random event?

They can do all kinds of things, like give a person a message from the dead, turn someone, give a special power etc... I would question their value when they immediately undo a power given to a player in the game.

I'm really not going to worry about it. We're not going to use the spell anyway. I didn't invent it and it didn't occur to me when I got Lady G's PM that I should reply back.... "thanks, but no thanks."

I knew I was in for an even rougher time of this when I decided to come forward with it. But I did that anyway so I could ask Wingnut to make the choice. That seemed like the best way to handle this.

I almost went ahead and used it without telling anyone. I just wasn't sure who to pick without screwing that up and even if I get burned for it, at least I didn't turn a townie to witch by mistake.

How Tree and some others can sit there and make this sound like the spell benefits me is just nuts. I didn't dream that up because I got a few votes. I've been under some suspicion the whole game. Whenever I'm innocent at least, I'm always under suspicion for one reason or another. It'd be weird if that wasn't the case this time too.

My coming out with the spell served it's purpose, however. It forced Wingnut to give up one of his former teammates. That's enough for me.

I was just curious if you had a plan b.

Nope.... nothing, Tree. It is what it is.

LG, can you say if there would be any consequence for lying to your new team?
The consequence would be the rest of the players would feel you did not play in the true spirit of the game. You can say whatever you want in the game...but hurting your team on purpose is just wrong.

There was something else I thought about before posting about it yesterday. I did almost use it but I'm glad I held back. Maybe a big reason for that was a little selfish of me, though. If I had used it and kept quiet about it, I wouldn't have been able to stand it later on, possibly for as long as the game goes on.

I wondered what on earth was I supposed to do later on if/when the person I turned comes up to get burned?

Should I try to defend them, knowing they were turned but unable to explain why?? Should I just let it go and hope for the best?? Everything hinged on whether or not I knew for sure I had the right person.

Wow, I can't believe no one has anything to say.
