Mafia 103...the play

First off, no ill intentions with me talking about your gameplay. I just like your breakdown of your thoughts on how people are acting. It always seems very logical and precise. Even in the last game I had a hard time nailing you down as to what side you are on. It makes things interesting.

As for things coming together, yeah obviously I'm not set on how I feel. I am not 100% on my current convictions either but being put on the spot like that I always end up going overboard with my explanations, either sounding too sure or over explaining things so as to make others believe me. Still working on the small nuances of the game. I'm definitely not positive lab rat is scum, just forming theories as I go and made the mistake of sounding too sure of myself when I felt like someone was leering at me haha

Hmmmm...probably over stated with that "All votes" thing, but in a way I feel it is true. To me, most players "see" something in other's posting, or twist something into a different meaning...to me that boils down to a gut feel. But that pretty much goes out the window if you are mafia and know who isn't...they just need to backtrack afterwards and watch getting on too many trains.

I agree...it does seem all of a sudden AAF is doing some extreme backtracking over Neph.

Yeah it came together too well for me to feel like it was just a knee jerk OMGUS vote, especially since it's as early as it is in the game.

And yeah, you're right. After my posts I really did try to step up and say that I may be way off base specifically because I've only played one game. I guess we shall see.

On another note I wonder if the doc or investigator are good enough to act on the info they're given without giving themselves away. I like the semi complicated setup of this game (as opposed to the zero communication of the last game). Knowing there are people plotting against me outside the game makes it that much more interesting.

Now you have peaked my interest...what came together too well..?? Unless I am missing something, it's almost as if you insinuate a plan...yours or with some buddies.

Why do you think the scum need to plot against you? Not much need for a plot when the scum know who the innocents are.

In my experience, mafia newbies that are first time scum do that a lot until reigned in by their team......
 
I'll probobly be back on later, but I'll go with my gut for now. I vote to lynch RB

I didn't specifically mean me. Just meant scum plotting period. They're pretty much plotting to win so that would be against everyone else that isn't in there with them. What came together so well wasn't really anything, I was referring to labs comment that AAF took and ran with. Seemed too easily done to think they don't know each other from the scum den. There's a possibility I'm wrong though. If he's feeling less sure now it's either to cover his butt and not seem so over zealous or he really isn't in the scum den.

Yeah that may be true but someone said something similar to me last game when the same thing went down. Something small was pointed out (a sentence I wrote in reference to the king) and I went way overboard trying to back up exactly why I said it that that it seemed more suspicious and someone said "I think you're just excited you got a PR your first time and that's why you're acting like that" or something like that. I ended up being a lowly guard just trying to protect his king. You reminded me of that because it is still about me being new.

Honestly though, I'm so glad I'm not on mafia team on my second game. If I was I'd probably not be having as much fun because I'd probably have gotten talked to and reigned in for bringing so much attention to myself lol
 
Nope..didn't forget...sometimes you need to single out directly a post/thought or it gets lost in the mix.....
