Anyway the one DD has pointed out as possibly leaning toward me, say's "let this cat chit & chat" I don't think he would say to "let" me chit and chat if he was trying to show me evil....if that is what that one is about.

that would be a good one to describe the snitch.....hmm mafioso witches. that would be interesting. Fly by on a broom and get shot. :werd:

Heh, things to think about.

Earlier when the discussion was on avatars and fitting them to Rb's spells jpappy changed his avatar from Snoopy on the Great Pumpkin to the Witch one he has now, and we had a laugh about it.

King I just noticed you changed yours to Dexter with the subtitle "Dark Passenger." Hint, test, or just a fan of the show? I don't have an answer to that it is just an observation.

On the topic of the Newbies:

bluerat has 8 posts in game and has been posting in other threads as well.
BrkD has 6 posts in game and has only made one other post outside and that is in the rate my avatar game thread.

Once again these are just observations for discussion.

Whatever, I'm defensive. What about your post? That sounds pretty defensive to me. Pot calling the kettle black... I am assuming you're still using a black cauldron there witch-boy. Haven't switched over to Calaphon?

If you aren't confident enough to vote on of the five on your list, then why even bring it up?.... oh, right, it was a trap. Good call. As I recall, whne I said that two games ago, you didn't take it so well. In fact, you wanted to lynch me. So now, I return the favor.

Never called it a trap. It was a list to bring out responses. I figured responses to the list would help us figure out who was evil.Even if not today maybe it could be looked back on.

I vote to burn Ice on a stake, at noon, on the summer solstice. Because that's what my 'Little Book of Witch Hunting' says to do!

Summer solstice isn't until June 20th of 08. Don't think the game will last that long.

BTW: At this time, my top three for the coven are Ice, Br, and Deputy Chief.

DC is because Br thinks him innocent for no reason. He obviously knows who he is. Ice because he's defending Br.

Not defending B, just think its a bad idea to lynch a newb the very 1st day, it hasn't worked yet if memory serves me correctly.Also seems an easy pick for an evil.



Also, LadyG, I'm not sure I see the whole plantling thing.

I'd believe Blue is more witch then B is. JM hasn't posted much at all so how can she say a lot and say nothing?

I'm not sure how agreeing with some of the points Ogre made can be construed as "coming to his rescue"

I still think Ogre's list looks pretty good for a first day list. DC is very suspicious IMO. So is Brk.

I wasn't too sure about you, but this post you have made "alluding" that I came to Ogre's rescue is misinformation. Either you are confused, or you are trying to spread confusion. Which one is it, my wart nosed friend???

I would like to know how you feel about DC. You previously stated you were "going after low posters" this game. It seems to me that was all smoke and mirrors. To me the most suspicious person in town is DC, a very low poster. Yet this morning you make no mention of his post last night. Instead you try to loosely group Ogre and I together. Hmmmmmmm.....

I probably should stop posting so soon after I wake up, coming to the rescue might have been a bit of an overstatement. After I thought about it I thought you might be together as a team but the Herbalist/Prophet. I've thought about it and don't think Ogre is innocent, you still strike me as innocent though.

As for DC, I only posted that hoping people would post more. DC looks like DC to me though his vote for JM is pretty whack. JM said before the game4 started she had a lot on her plate so I'm not going to hold it against her. I think as the game wears on she'll post more as will DC.

KOTD was pretty non existent in posting also, but I don't recall to many people questioning him.

Ummmm guys and gals, before we get too carried away trying to decipher these clues, just realize that RB is not making these "clues" up. He's probably got a book of spells somewhere or is surfing the net for them. I found at least two on this site: http://www.debac.net/spells.htm

I find it odd that Ice professes to have studied Wicca and didn't mention that these were actually spells. The spell he used to justify voting for me was this:

For Ice to have stretched this spell into a plantling, it makes me believe he is quite desperate. The votes were tied at 2 himself,myself, judge, and Charlie, I believe, but he saw his chance to get out of it and jumped. Not only that, but I feel it's a revenge vote. "Clues" aside, reread my posts and see if I have indeed acted evil. I did make a list of my observations and did mention that it was just "some notes of interests" but I must have hit nerves because the first few votes on me are the very ones I had on my list. Things that make you go Hmmmmmm.

I merely pointed out that it was about the HP and it fit you in a way. I admitted it was stretched. If I were to just go after you I'd say it fit you to a T.

Ice's avatar is the eye of Sauron. Sauron is a shadow that cannot be seen as he has not yet been able to take on a body. Invisible and silent.

It's dumb, I know, but makes a whole lot more sense than a plantling.

Actually Sauron was a shape shifter, he had a body and was not invisible or quiet. How does someone quiet push their will upon others?

I only asked Brk what room he was hiding in, I can't figure out why you keep saying I was attacking him for that. Charlie and Ogre went after him much harder than I. As I said before I plan on giving both the nebs a day to get a feel for how they play, I do have Brk leaning Witch right now however. I am still neutral on bluerat because he just hasn't posted enough.

RE: Rb's "clues": I certainly see where you are coming from, but it seems a stretch even for Rb. Why would he give out the entire list of Witches on Day 1?

I don't think its all witches. I think there are clues to clear innocents also.We just have to figure out who is what. I think its part clues and part fun on Rbs part.

Jmax also has a bat flying in her background...she has been what I would consider a low poster also.

I totally missed her bat. She hasn't posted much so I haven't seen her avatar a lot even going back and reareading I wasn't looking at avatars. 2ndly my wife did a lot of graphic art on her PSP so I always see the pic and not what makes it up


OMG, I didn't even catch that..I've been looking at his avatar trying to figure out what it was, wow good catch there plant., no it doesn't make you less suspisious to me right now, but it does make more sence for that IMO. But I think I like the "cat" better for you then Z at this point.

I don't think that was meant for me as I think it was meant to describe the HP. I think if any of them were meant to describe me it was the one DD pointed out as one that wants 1 good night.

I'm not voting for JM because of her low post counts. I'm voting based on her allusion to having info on the first day. The first day is always a mad grasp for straws. We all know this. Once again I'd like to reiterate a point I've made before, low posts have never pointed to guilt or innocence. In the the BioBadlands game, BKW was quite vocal and was the leader of the badguys. We need to find better clues than this person doesn't talk much.

Guys, can I say something about this whole 'Rb's hints' thing?

It's almost ridiculous. The town has won almost every game ever played here. We don't need any hints from the ref to figure stuff out. We'll get there. Unless Rb made it 7 witches to 8 townies, then we're going to win... it will just take some time. The bad guys will screw up somewhere.

In the interest of full disclosure... I figure I can bring this up as I'm not 'implicated' in the 'hints'. If someone else had said this, you guys would be jumping all over it.

I agree with that Ogre. What I can see happening is someone with well-intentions might find a witch that "fits" one of those spells and then they'll start a witch hunt that will leave a bunch of Innocent bodies in it's wake.

I don't think we can just not look at the clues. They weren't put there for nothing. Like I stated earlier in this novel of a thread I think it shows innocents and witches.
