Mafia #14 -- The Play

Right now I'm interested in this,
HN-we know is innocent

Ogre-well he was one of the first on Charlie, not sure if maybe this was the start of the "Charlie train" or not.

Dp-Well, he started out HORRIBLE but after the whole Charlie thing..not to sure about him, no one came to his "rescue" same as Charlie. I just wish he would stop posting such "obvious" mafia signs to be taken as jokes and actually help out some so I can get more of a feel for him. His postings can be taken either as he is soooo obvious he can't be mafia or he is trying to make it look that way.

CL-Also one of the first on Charlie, at this point I really don't have much of a read on him either, one minute I think oh yeah he is mafia..the next I'm not sure.

DC-His low post are alarming, he does this every game...some games he is bad some good, but his "style" doesn't seem to change much so hard to read him also.

Jpap-Seems to be trying to help..nothing has really jumped out at me from him at this point.

Ice-Playing much different then in previous games. Say's he wanted to try this way out to see if he could last longer, and not have others just follow him around (not exact words). Now what I find troubling about him though IS this change it is just soo different and hard to figure out.

DD-Well most games I end up thinking her bad, usually doesn't come out unless called upon. Last game she was VERY helpful, this game back to the old DD..which always makes me uneasy.

Dj-I feel him to be mafia, my vote is most likely going to end up on him. I feel last night was a newb mafia mistake and I see no other way to explain it at this point. Highly wish the town would of went with him instead of staying on Charlie.

Now having said that about Dj...I think I need to go back and see who all said it would be better to "save" him till tomorrow (today), I don't understand that thought at all...if you are 99% sure someone is mafia why stay with one you are not sure to be?

Others thoughts on these ppl would be wonderful.

That in itself, should be something to be concerned about, not making them low on mafia radar, but high.

Many of the mafia members will "lay low".

Now DC is often a low poster and when not drunk has good quality posts.

I am more concerned with the fact that you mention DC and not mention DJ. There was much more posts about DJ at the time.

I'm thinking that we're already looking into DJ (with two votes now), DP and Dc.

My question is why include Ice and Jpappy in this list? Obviously, everyone should be 'looking into' everyone, but Ice and jpappy, so far as I can tell haven't really been on any radars so far. So why bring them into this now?

I also notice that you seem to have gone into very aggressive mode against blue (along with JL (just not as hard), but this aggressiveness started when you got two votes. Now my vote on you was partially cause I think you are a reasonable candidate, but mainly for the purpose of evening out the votes so some discussion will follow... well boy did it follow...

NOTE: This is NOT a mafia/innocent list. This list is based on tone/quality/volume of posts. There are probably some mafia at both ends of the list. I'm not posting a mafia/innocent list because I don't think that it will be as useful as this list (at this time). Right now, I have almost everyone leaning mafia... probably my top two innocent choices are Ice and Mad.

A 1 on this list means the posts are low quality, low volume, super defensive or super aggressive, with a minimal use of logic and maximal use of strawmen.

A ten on this list would be a poster that convinces everyone (and is correct) about who a mafia member is

As far as I am concerned, Ice's recent posts have me quite concerned.

Now this one from you has me equally concerned.

I can agree with most of this, but I'd like to add that I'm pleased DP's taking some interest in the game this time and appears to be trying harder.

4th is one of the first? Other than that I agree with most of this. Clown's posts seem to be well thought out with insightful questions. I'm thinking him more innocent than mafia.

I disagree with this. Last game, Z had made a very obvious change to his play style. I don't see Ice making quite that big a change. On the other hand, his instance with discussing various rules and interpretations of the referee's statements bugs the heck out of me, but he does that every game.

I almost never comment on DD because I can't figure her out either. She is a very laid back poster, but her posts usually make me think. She's a tough player either as mafia or innocent.

I'm really not so sure... much like DP last night and even charlie to some extent, I'm fearing that his slip just gives the mafia a perfect excuse to jump on and roll up another innocent townie.

A final comment, I agree with many of things LadyG says here, because a lot of it is the obvious and innocuous posting that doesn't really mean much.

I hope my comments have helped in some way.

I posted my thoughts on djmajor in post 630... I had not seen anything more to add to what my thoughts on DJ are at the time I posted concerning my thoughts on DC.

I have seen a lack of posts from a few ppl. I do know that I have days that I can stay online moreso than others. So, I have taken this into acct with low posting as well. As this is my first game, I am still trying to get a feel for everyone. Everyone is suspect Thanks for the bit of advice you have given..I dont know if it was meant that way, but thats how I have taken it.
