The Guard(s) Hits
Man I hate wireless had a nice write up and hit submit and I had a connection error.. Darn.. Sorry this took so long
The first guard with knowing purpose rows out to the pirate ship, knowing that his target is a pirate and had decided that it is her time to go... Getting into his boat, he stealthly rows out to Black Beards ship and sees her on guard duty.. Quickly and quietly he climbs aboad and gets in behind her..
Drawing his daggar, he places right between her ribs and ceases her lifes functions..
JudgeMax was a Pirate
The first guard quickly rows back to shore as alarms sound on the pirate ship.. Feeling safe once he hits the shore, he ties his boat to the dock.. The second guard thinking that he was seeing one of Black Beards men sneaking into town, notches an arrow and lets it fly.. With the accuracy of someone more advanced than his age the guard hits his mark.. The 1st guard slumps over dead.

The Town Lynch
The townies thinking that they had gained knowledge of who exactly was terrorzing the town makes its way down to the sandy shores.. Knowing that their victim happened to be on duty this night, supposedly protecting the town.. They felt however that he was letting the pirates pass into their village during his watch and had been bought out by Black Beard and the pirate horde..
Finding their victim celebrating in his shack, drag him by his heals down to the shoreline.. They find ICE in his boat and with rage in their hearts vow to murder this traitorish slime (or so they think) and get revenge for their Guards murder.
Quckly the villagers gather wood and pile it into ice's boat, what a fitting end to this slime bag.. It will be the funeral pire for their hero and the victim.. Lighting the wood they drag the boat out into the middle of the harbor and watch it burn from the safty of their boat... As the 2nd Guard burns all you can hear is his screams of innocence..

The pirates enraged at the death of their comrad storm the shores of the tiny village.. Meeting no resistance as the guards had met their earlier fate they make their way through the slumbering town.. With purpose in their steps they make their way to the residence of Grins...
The surround her house and enter through the front and back, ensuring that their pray will not escape.. As they meet each other in the formal dining room they see a small candle with a note placed beneath..
"Dear Watchman,
Thank you so much for that intelligence that the pirates may be wanting my head. I will be relocating my residence temporarilly to the hamptons for some well needed rest and relaxation.
