Because I feel he is the only one Im pretty much sure about being pirate.
The only person im pretty sure is innocent is mee-mee, and I can't really do an investigation on why I think shes innocent.

Hmm OK, but if you are pretty sure about him, why not try to find out more about the majority you don't have a feeling about? There is more than one pirate after the town you know.

As for Mee-Mee, care to share with us why you are pretty sure she is innocent? Maybe it would help some of the rest of us make up our minds.

rb, you cannot gain stats by simply 1 game. It just wont happen and only looks like you are pointing fingers without warrant. That and your attitude is pretty scary. Not something I would think is trying to work with us but for yourself.

well, for reasons already highlighted, this thing on G has me unsettled still. I vote to have rb walk the plank.

I will do an OMGUS vote against JM. I do think he's a pirate trying to get attention on me and off of RB. Oh, and it'll make the game interesting with everyone trying to read into it. I vote to make JM walk the plank.

Opps...I retract my vote for Bala and vote to make JM walk the plank.

There...now the question is whether to keep it with JM or switch to RB or someone even more suspicious.

Here's the thing LChap, while I agree with some that you look like you might be trying to find scum, some of the things you say or do give me pause...

In the first quote above you mention that your OMGUS vote will 'make the game interesting with everyone trying to read into it.' If you're truly on the town's side, the idea isn't to have fun while trying to possibly confuse folks. The idea is to have the things you say, and the things you do 'clear' you in other people's minds, so that the townies can concentrate on looking elsewhere. Just a thought.

Additionally, the second quote above looks like you may not be sure about voting rb or JMax at all... the part about maybe moving your vote to someone else entirely seems like an odd thing to say.

Finally,

I vote to make Judgemax walk the plank. Normally I'm not one for trying to keep votes 'even,' but I think that rb and JM are both likely pirates. If voting remains close until later in the day, it could make it harder for Cooke to offer protection to the leading vote getter.

I have to agree, we townies are at a disadvantage to the pirates in that we can't chat with one another to figure out what you might mean LC. If the game needs to be made more interesting, lets help one another lynch a pirate to lower their numbers.

And Mad, good thinking on making it harder for Cooke.

Or I'm being obvious that I know my actions may give second thought, and saying I realize that but think they're still the best thing to do, in my own unique way...and there's really nothing there TO read into.

Those are the two biggest pirate targets atm, and I think everyone agrees. There's still 10.5 hours or so till nightfall (though I'm only going to be here for part of that), and that's plenty of time for someone else to make a bigger target of themselves...I doubt it, but it's possible.

Again, my own unique way of saying "I reserve the right to change my vote later."

Comments in red. Synopsis: I'm trying to break out of the mold and make my own play-style. It's my first game, so no one knows what to expect from me, but I'm laying the groundwork of what to expect from me in future games.

There seems to be a change in the air.. As to what it is specifically the villagers do not know but they can almost feel it, it is so perceptable.. It is only a deep bone feeling, but it feels so evil. The watchman being the ever villagagent person, spies on Black Beards ship way out past the harbor with a telescope and sees that the men/womean are celebrating.. They have dragged out what looks to be a barrel of grog and are toasting each other.. Since this is a low tech world and and the Watchman is only receiving video not audio he can only guess as to what the celebration might be, but it seems that it is centered around one person.

Guys, this is kinda worrying me here. Do you think he is saying this because we have lost 3 innocents, so they are happy? Or do you think there could be another reason he would say this? I'm almost hate saying this, but it was the first thing I thought when I read it...do you think we are looking at the wrong ppl and they are celebrating because of it?? Both RB and JM seem like pirate to me, nothing they have posted at anytime really makes me feel any different, but this post by Clown has me more than worried? Anyone, have any thoughts on this? Maybe, they are celebrating b/c of the loss of 3 innocents, and being drunk is going to be part of the death post for one, or what???
I really would like some thoughts on this post, I believe Clown is putting hints out there for us, like the one in the post about the hit that was botched we just need to pick up on them.

I haven't figured it out yet myself. The last few words "it seems that it is centered around one person" has me the most intrigued.

I wonder if one of the townies accepted an offer to turn into a pirate or one of the other special occurances. Remember the original thread included this:

Special Occurrences

Through the course of the game some special occurrences may happen and will be decided by random number generator.

• During any night of the game a townie may find a pirate lurking through the town by accident and shoot them in self defense.
• During any night of the game a pirate may terrorize the watchmen voiding any investigations for that night.
• During any night of the game a townie may choose to convert to a pirate because he is tired of the governor’s rule.
• During any night of the game the thief may find him/her self a lass/mate that knocks them off their feet and makes them change their dastardly ways.
• During any night of the game a player may receive a drunken induced vision that tells them one of the Pirates. (This will never be the Captain)
• During any night of the game the Captain might become unconscious due to overdrinking grog and not be able to get a hit on a townie.
• During any one night of the game a lynch or a hit may not happen.
• During any one night of the game a townie may get a special ability to hide a potential hit in their root cellar.

There is only a 20% chance that any of these occurrences will occur and a 50% chance that it will go off correctly. Each of these will have to successfully pass two random rolls. 1 to see if a random occurrence happens and 2 if it does happen. What order they will happen in will be determined before the game starts and “may” be communicated by the game moderator in the thread when the occurrence happens. Any of these may happen more than once but will never happen more than twice.

Wow, Lchap that first answer kinda threw me off, I thought MAYBE you were making it "more interesting" b/c you wanted to see what reaction you got from JM/RB for your vote, by evening it up a bit...but no, I guess I thought wrong on that one huh? If there's nothing to read into...why would you post that?

On the second one, you say they are the two biggest targets..yes, that is true and nothing wrong with voting one if they look pirate in your eyes. What kinda stopped me for a second though, is when Beth was being targeted, you didn't like trains although in the end you voted her...now you are voting Jmax, not because YOU think she is the best choice, but because she is one of the "biggest targets" atm? At least this is what I get out of that response, if I am wrong..plz let me know.
