Or the guard could just hit JM so even if the Cooke protected Rb we'd still get a dead pirate.

If we went to tie and last second switch then they might out think us and protect JM instead. If we just tie and the random goes to the protected one we get nothing. I'd rather see one dead and since the Cooke can't protect a Guards hit that person will die. If we stay the course and Rb is protected by the Cooke it just reassures his pirateness. Maybe JM is Cooke and the hit kills her and leaves Rb unprotected.

Hmm, I like this plan. The guard had better be one of the ones reading the thread and not one of the players that seems to be sleeping on the job.

If the town feels Im mafia, feel free to vote for me. I usually dont make it past night two anyways.

You pirates would love us to spread our votes out so we don't snag a pirate wouldn't you?

And, to answer why Im so vocal "now", I typically respond to ppl when they direct questions or comments to me. Not very helpful for the town if I dont.

And yet you missed my mistake that I pointed out in 975. I understand that post didn't even exist when you posted this, but the mistake I found occured oh...about 240 or so posts prior.

Could we possibly have 2 guards???

This game seems so heavily slanted in favor of the pirates that a second guard would be a nice surprise. Clown, I kinda like you again if this one is true.

In the sign up thread it says Clown wanted a minimum of 16 but preferred 20 with all the power roles.

I'm going to assume there is only one Guard since we only had 17 players to begin.

I'm going to hope that the guards don't assume anything and instead go back and read their instructions and the game instructions as well to understand their role and see if there is a hint as to them being 1 of 2, etc.

Should we be saving our gold to pay your price? Pretty soon you will have participated as much as some of the dead people....

And my vote for JL the day before WAS NOT an OMGUS vote. He went after me so I went back at him. Not an OMGUS vote.

I thought that was pretty much what an OMGUS vote was.

Can you point out to me where Rb is on Jpaps list, maybe bold it since I seem to be missing it also. He is mentioned as he explains his reason for Blue but thats it.

lol thanks for catching that Ice, jeez meems you are making it easy...I even pointed out to you that rb wasnt on the list I posted because it was the people I ALSO suspected...I think anyone without a pegleg could figure out that rb is my tops seeing as I voted for him today. Yet you come back saying that you didnt say that he was at the bottom of my list you said ALMOST...you first said at the bottom then later changed it to almost...but it doesnt even matter because he was not on that list beacuse I already vote for him!!!

But Grins, what if Clowns announcement was the Captain switch? I say go back to Rb and let the Guard if they see fit take care of JM. If not JM is going to be the vote tomorrow anyway.

I thought of that, and I'll be sticking close to the computer to see how things look. Clown's post could mean a few things as we all said. Shoot, Clown's post could even be about the pirates laughing at us because so many of us think Rb is a pirate. What if we've all been foolishly led astray and we're about to hit an innocent? Don't get me wrong, he still smells like cheap rum to me, but Clown's post has me uneasy.

I'd like to be pleasantly surprised and find out it means that the captain's drunken stupor caused her (Hi JM) to sleep through the hit. But eh, right now I'm not counting on that.

I didn't OMGUS JL. The majority of the time he was a bad person when he went after me, and he is doing the same again. He is acting like he does whenever he went after me. And the vote for no reason is a bad vote for someone. We always said a vote with no reason is no vote at all. And in previous games when a bad person voted for someone without justification (that was a telltale sign right there). He didn't give any explanation for the vote just like JP did. Those are the votes that need explanations...
