Well at this point if the people that have those roles haven't asked Clown they are sleeping on the job. Sadly that might be the case after seeing us lose both guards tonight. I'll not give the watchman too hard of a time as they obviously know the pirates well enough to know they'd think my being vocal meant something more than it did.
At this point LC, I'll share with you what I think will be most helpful as one fairly new person to another. The best thing we townies can do is probably stay calm and focus not on numbers but instead on specific behaviors and talk.
Take a look at who has gone after known innocents. Yes, some will have to be discounted because I myself was going hard after Rb for some time. But who started that? LG maybe she is the guilty one...I think she is at this point.
Take a a look at who known guilty people have been going after hard. The thing with the pirates is that they all know who one another are. They might admit that one of their own looks guilty but they'll probably not go after them hard but find some reason why they must place their vote elsewhere.
Don't expect all the votes of the guilty to be together. Last night is an example. See how JM's vote and JL's were placed on throw away votes? They didn't vote for the same people as the other pirates because they were wanting to create some distance so people didn't associate them as a collective group. And lucky for them the town was going after Rb who they knew was not a pirate. They had the confidence they could spread out their votes and an innocent would be lynched.
This is the point in the game where what seemed trivial the first day is more meaningful. Go back and review some of that and see what red flags exist now that didn't then.
Hope that helps if you're an innocent like I think. If you're a pirate, no harm in telling you as your friends on the ship would have already done so.
Thanks for the pointers...I'll go back and see what I can come up with...hopefully you'll see a post soon.
