Did the thief know, at least in a ballpark, how much gold the captain/gov were given? If she didn't, the captain could have said "oh, they only gave me 100 gold for the game" when he was really given 1000...kinda hampers the negotiations for the cost of the investigation when you don't know how much "value" it has compared to the gold one has...

No the thief had no clue what amount of Gold I had given the Gov and BB.. I gave each 3000 gold coins to make it fair. I took a random number and rounded it to the nearest thousand.

However I have had lots of questions about the money and that might have to go into a specific list for specific actions type of thing..

Poor RB... Sorry, but I never laughed as hard in a game as when the town was going after rb. Poor guy couldn't come up for air...the townies really lit into him. I was laughing so hard reading the posts my wife thought I was crazy.

While I think that playing scum is harder than playing innocent, when you can get the masses moving it really is funny to watch.

I suspect rb will have his revenge in the next game he mods.

Curiousity.... how much did the pirates pay? We paid 1100 total.

Also, from my point of view, the only change I'd suggest would be that the Mag be able to jail anyone that has a vote on them at nightfall. Only once a game. That would allow an innocent "hit", but using it for that would make him and the Gov vulnerable if the Gov was later lynched.

Lol, a peek at my last 15 minutes as gov....

I have already made the decision to make the last second post and have gone through the trouble of trying to synch my computer time with the world time clock. My cell rings..it shows my son who I know is at work and is going to call me when he needs a ride home. Crap. I answer the phone not letting him speak and say

"Oh please can you get anyone else to give you a ride? Someone? Anyone from work? PLEASE?!"

His reply?

"Um OK, but I was just calling to say that I have to close tonight so won't get off work until late."

Me

"Oh. Love you! Gotta go!"
