Coin flip, what can I say....it has been true in the past. Random alignment can run true about in my experience, but the similarities in posts were close enough for me to have him high on my list.

Hey don't blame you, well wait yes I do...but point being I'd not trust him for the most part either..lol

Sincerely no. I told HN early in first few hours of the game that I thought either Mg or LC was the thief. HN was pretty adament that LC wasn't the thief (which tipped me off on who he was), So until MG UD'd he was safe with me and I remember HN thinking he was a potential thief as well.

And our info was a flat fee for convo that revealed the cap was originally a female, then changed hands to a man. That an investigation on someone had turned up that they were pirate and the 2nd one had turned up they were innocent. And that at up to that point the new cap and she had not yet spoken.

She was then paid an additional fee for her vote.

Actually I wasn't postitive that you were telling the truth about being in touch with the thief. I thought mee-mee's about-face on JPap ('He's a pirate!' to 'JPap seems SO innocent') telegraphed her role pretty well, and that most would pick up on it. I knew that you were saying the captain was originally female then changed to male, but there were theories that JMax was cap followed by me.... I thought that you could be tossing it out there just to bolster your believability with the townies.

In all honesty, I really hated the role of the thief. Any player that can go between both teams is too dangerous...they could easily submarine either team.

When I found out that mee-mee was the thief I was a little nervous. A few games back, I caught her cutting and pasting a post from Ice when she was scum. It got a little brutal. And JL always likes to mention in a lot of the games that mee-mee is a terrible scum-player. Wasn't too sure that she'd want to align with us.

My only consolation was that I knew HN was a PR, and the game after I caught mee-mee cut and pasting, HN attacked her on it...it may have even let to her lynching (I can't remember). Along with the fact that you were talking about lynching the thief earlier in the game, I wasn't sure if she'd want to align with you guys either.
