Mafia 2014 #1-- FF1 Simple--Sign Up

Maybe we could get some of the vets to sign up if you offered aliases for the game.

I just don't have the time to give to the game anymore. I can't play half ***.

I hear ya. I don't have time either but it's been so long and I really miss them.

But.. this will be a small one. I figure with 10 players, 6 will be dead already in 3 days. It's not going to take that long to play.

I'm probably the only one who does have time to play right now, but I figured that since I'm such a loveable guy, everyone would want to play with me. :grinyes:

I'll be your huckleberry.

I'm in.

You do realize that we aren't in Tombstone, right?

Dang, that was obscure enough I had to look it up...

-----
"A man; specif., the exact kind of man needed for a particular purpose. 1936: "Well, I'm your huckleberry, Mr. Haney." Tully, "Bruiser," 37. Since 1880, archaic.

The "Historical Dictionary of American Slang" which is a multivolume work, has about a third of a column of citations documenting this meaning all through the latter 19th century.

So "I'm your huckleberry" means "I'm just the man you're looking for!"
"I'm your huckleberry..." Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday in Tombstone.
-----

Didn't think until now I'd ever miss Star Trek references so much.
