Man, if the teams didn't know who each other were, I'd say we got us a team right there. MG, Emo, and jpappy. distancing, arguing, constant and nearly instant posting... it's like they were in a chat room or something.

But Ice would never do that to us :uhoh:

Clown, yes I'm in. I got wrangled it to by Ice sending me his IM name. Now to think of something to pester him about..I'm open to suggestions everyone.

LC, I've not played 5+ games. I've only played twice before. First as an evil elf that got promoted (or is that demoted?) to the Grinch, and the second as the bon bon eating Gov.

Emo, reading your posts has made my head hurt the worst today so I vote to lynch Emo.

All those posts and not much substance. The Emo thing is interesting, but since no one knows who is who, I doubt it's staged in the least. Also, DD & Rb- isn't deleting posts basically editting AND using Mod powers? I believe Ice probably tweaked the roles too. LChap- good post but then again I remember how much you've been working for "future games" in the 2 you've played so anything I see from you wil be with a grain of salt.

Well let's take a look at who Ice would have tweaked into what role...

First the playerlist:


Well first lets look at the Unknowns...These are people who haven't played Mafia before, and so we (And Ice) have no clue how they'll react. I doubt Ice would place either of them in the Boss slot, but he MIGHT have used them for the hitman/police; unlikely but possible:

I agree with this analysis. I don't see him making either a boss, but they could be police or hitman.

The Oldtimers. (This title only truly applies to one person... :silly These are players who are vets at Mafia, from what I've gathered. I still haven't read more then one game before I began playing, but it seems these are the people that have played at least 5 games. Ice would know how they'll react and do in any roles, and many of them are the first to be investigated:
Jpap Hard to read.
HN Not gonna comment on myself.
LG Frequently evil, sometimes crazy. lol
Clown Very much a "gamer", hard to read.
JM Always evil. :silly:
RB Only 1 PR that I remember, but very good at hiding in plain sight.
Grins All I know is to keep her quiet with bon bons.
Ogre Good, sneaky player. Brought the game here.
Bkw Low poster, except in mafia chat.
DD Always extremely hard to read.
Cory Sat out quite a few games, but was a regular. Hard to read from what I remember.

The above are just generalizations and opinion of overall play.

I noticed the list above seems to include just about everyone...of these, who usually stays off the radar, and who is always in the limelight? I don't have enough background to say, but they may have been given a role.

The Novices. These are the players like myself who have played a few games, enought to get a slight feel for, but still haven't been in enough games to show everything they got:
Mg
LC
Beth

Ice may have given someone in the Novice list a PR...maybe as an experiement to help him guage them in future games (Was it you?), maybe as a chance to watch them shine. I also realize that I'm in this list, and well...kinda scares me to be getting that much attention again...I swear I was about to be lynched 3 nights in a row last game, and I only survived two...if the Madman hadn't hit me, I'm sure Ice would have had the town on me.

Of the novice list, everyone BUT Beth has had a PR (as far as I'm aware). IF Ice is running a little experiement, he'd prolly give a role to Beth... Maybe...

This is all crazy LG analysis of the game, Day 1 style...I'm just trying to start to get into Ice's head (Just be nice to the dancing sheep), and think how he does, so we can figure out where he gave the roles. I think that the teams are random, and the only thing he did was tweak the PRs...so let's figure this out.

I'm going to keep my vote on RB for the time being...no reason for it being there, but no reason to move it. I can't wait till I'm investigated, and on a communicating team. I hate being paranoid of everyone...it's too much like work. :lipssealedsmilie:

yes, Hooked, which is precisely why I asked another mod that is not associated with this game to do so. The were duplicate posts. If they had any differences to them, (which one did that I told the mod who deleted it to put back), they should not be deleted. I used none of my own powers for the job.

yes, Hooked, which is precisely why I asked another mod that is not associated with this game to do so. The were duplicate posts. If they had any differences to them, (which one did that I told the mod who deleted it to put back), they should not be deleted. I used none of my own powers for the job.

Ok. I wasn't accusing anyone of anything. More of a clarification. It is a bit scary that you all have the ability to delete posts when it comes to these games...
