I sure don't believe that newbies aren't given power roles. And did you see that the blasted thing tried offing itself yet again?!?!
Well you know you played so well I forgot that you were a newbie really but yeah you've broken that mold as well.. You've had two PR as well.... No I hadn't seen that it had tried to become sushi again.. I'll have to go see now. As long as its not you and superglue though I think you might survive. :lipssealedsmilie:
Now to Emo and CT, you guys do realize that you don't want to get people to vote to lynch you right? RIGHT? My questions from earlier stands...can I vote to lynch them both FrigidBala?
I'm not sure where all of these three stand.. I mean I agree with Ogre that if we had predetermined teams going on I'd be screaming distancing tactic as well.
But its not so much the "ribbing" that went on that bothers me it was EMO's stating he did see Jpap's disclaimer and then a little while later he said he didn't read it. At this point I find it difficult for any new player not to have read at least some of one or several previous games and not have somewhat of an idea of what this game is about.
I know I only read a bit of a previous game before playing my first one. I had the advantage of having a team to play with my first game and the newbies this round don't. I'm trying to cut them some slack due to that but both Emo and and CT are making that difficult right now. I don't like how Emo doesn't think he needs the rest of the town and I don't like pretty much anything CT has said. He says he doesn't care, he admits to trying to stay out of things, he tries to deflect blame to others post counts when he has the same number as them, etc. It doesn't seem like newbie behavior, it seems like mafia behavior.
For now I retract my vote to lynch Emo and will keep a close eye on both of these two and others that might be skating by while the 2 newbies take the heat.

No one hates you, and the game will end when the Mafia Boss is lynched/hit. I'm guessing it'll take 3-4 nights, give or take, before that happens.
The thing is that there are some behaviors that scream Mafia...and some that scream Innocent. Right now everyone's going after you because you're displaying some of those Mafia behaviors...right now I'm half-tempted to follow suit. Almost every vote on Day 1 is a crapshoot...especially when there's no communicating teams. You've just made yourself the biggest target via your behavior.
Seems like I've made myself a target too...I just hope I can demonstrate my innocence by helping the town before I'm killed off like last game. :headshake2:

geewhiz, G... I used "weak" for lack of a better word to describe your accusations... talk about squeezing for answers. Personally, I don't recall any other games with blatant duplicate posts such as the ones I reported to be deleted. As far as mod power being used, by all means, G... I am well aware of the past and mod powers being used and the unfairness of it all. You say that you respect that I didn't "use" it but why keep mentioning "mod power" if you believe I didn't, or is it that you are trying to burn some kind of hidden message about it.... oh oh oh, OR is it that you brought the subject up and hit submit before you had a chance to think about what it was you were trying to pin on someone....? tsk, tsk, you usually play better than that. For the record, I didn't go and ask any mod to remove the posts because they were duplicates, I clicked on the little exclamation point in the avatar section of each post. It's the one with the little white triangle around it, lined in red. It goes to an area where the boards mods are alerted that there are duplicate posts on the board. Usually, the mod assigned to the area will go to the posts, and delete them after confirming they are in fact deleted.
In case anyone cries foul again over my removal of my vote for rb, here it is for technicalities....

OK, now that my head is feeling a wee bit better I decided to go back and review some of the posts. Still a bit early for much meaningful to be gleamed but worth a shot seeing that we have 8 mafia to discover.
Listed in the order that Ice (FrigidBala) gave them and I'm not listing myself because I already know I'm innocent.
Mg: A bit giggly this game which seems odd for Mg. And this seems very guilty to me. Oh and Mg...<salt flick>
Beth: The more I consider this, the more plausible it seems.
Jpap: apparently suffered from mafia posting withdrawal and is now babbling
HN: Hmm when you say you're just trying to start to get into Ice's head are you referencing some off thread chat? Perhaps questioning him about your mafia role?
LC: Was this a call for the Don to investigate you? Looking a bit hitman'ish there LC. And how are the odds in your favor? Is it because the boss gets a hit right after the lynch? When you started to do the he/she thing in the pirate game a lot you did it as a cover.
LG: Made an awfully big deal out of DD's asking Niko to remove a post when DD was up front and asked for it in the thread and even corrected Niko when he removed the wrong content. Why did you go after her so hard LG? And I didn't see an answer from you regarding this.
Clown: No read on Clown right now.
CT: Only mafia tries to keep out of stuff, and again you said it here, and here. Then you say you'll never do something and yet in the next breath you say you might. The fact that you keep playing the newbie card shows you have a lot to hide. Glad your head is feeling better, but you may want to lay off the drugs. I quoted a post from Lchap where HE stated that he was trying to get into Ice's head. I've not been in touch with Ice at all (no need to be), but I'm guessing you have. Before you go to the trouble to link posts (very helpful btw), you might want to actually READ them.
