Been there, tried that, nearly got lynched each time.

Seriously, I've made minor gameplay changes every game, not because my role has changed, but consciously to avoid having tells while adding to the game. It's either that or having no content to slip tells into...

I much prefer the first, but lessons must be taught. :devil: I know, I'm a *******, and I deserve scorn...but then again, I'm not much of a people person anymore.

I don't think that overly aggressive gameplay is the issue here. While we've only played one game together, I've browsed the two others that you played. My observation is, that even when innocent, you frequently admit that one of your objectives in each game is to hone your skills so that you can play better scum. This says that you're playing for yourself, and not for the town. How can people trust you when you admit to doing that?

Even as a townie you admit that you're holding back because you don't want to give too much away for future games. Whatever. I disagree with the approach, but if you're going to do it, don't keep telling everyone.

In your first game, you showed that you can play this game well.... People expect it of you now. This other craziness is going to get you lynched quick.

if you really see nothing in the post, then why are you STILL going on about it?..its really starting to make you look suspicious.

on that note, i have tanks to clean and birds to feed, i'll be back later.

I am not " going on about it" the issue hear is, that three people in consecutive order, commented on a post, that had nothing to it. now, two have back tracked, and one went silent, ...


so, if i look suspicious, ..so be it, ..but I saw something odd, and worth commenting on, .. then i am gonna say something.

No i get that, seriously, lmao, i don't see, how it reads any differently in my opinion though?..

maybe i have spent to much time in BFE PA. and my brain is failing, however, ..to me, it still reads the same, and didn't imply anything.

NOT HARDLY, .. any one with a brain, knew what he was saying, ..it drives me nuts, when they try and pick apart something, to look for something, that isn't there.

I am in no way saying ogre is not mafia, or is mafia, ..I am just saying, ..that if your going to try and make a case, or question, atleast find something worth calling them on, and not something stupid, . that doesn't even exist, ..


And, again, explain to me, why that comment is implying his guilt, maybe I am slow, and missing it?..

cool, the responses to the quote are often put inside the quote and bolded or made a different color.

That is the thing, the only time I have learned anything about his tells was when he admitted to giving them as the Detective (?) in another game. They were subtle enough that they were missed. Just thinking outloud here in case it triggers something for someone that knows Ogre's style better.

And as you can see above I never said that no good info ever comes out it either. The first part of day one never seems to be that helpful at that point in the game (except for when LC pretty much announced he was mafia in the last game:lipssealedsmilie: ) It isn't until later on that things said start to make more sense when combined with other posts.

First of all it isn't an obvious error that means he has to be mafia. But his grammar was such "I don't think he is mafia because he disagrees with me" could be taken as saying he can't be mafia because he disagrees with me which would infer that Ogre was the mafia. It could all be a typo or just a choice of how to word the thought. But it is interesting that you deny it isn't worthy of questioning.

Game aside, that is pure evil. And why is it that when trying to catch up from your previously single solitary post in the game this was the first thing that came to your mind?

I've only played once with Ogre and found him a tough read. Would be interested in more thoughts on his game style.

Frankly you're getting the same reactions you did before because once again you are twisting your own words to make you appear mafia. The last time you did that you were the mob boss I might add.

I find worthy suspects, just not one leaning more than anyone else to cast a vote. Although LC is starting to beg to be lynched it appears.

I think she means you've voted for yourself in a past game, and I think she might be right about that.

grins, for the bolded part, I do want to say that last game is not the only game where Mafia was picked off on day 1. Yes, there are few and far in between games, but there is more than that game.

judgemax, Grins explained it pefectly...what don't you get?

Ogre states that he doesn't think he (Mad) is mafia...because he disagrees with him....so Ogre thinks Mad is innocent....and mad doesn't agree with Ogre because Ogre is mafia. At least thats how I read it.

To me that is a big slip up.
