As far as riding a random vote all the way to lynch, sure looks scummy to me. If the voter hangs on and doesn't give any additional reason, other than 'random vote', that's a problem....especially if that person is lynched and comes up innocent.

IMO it's the townie's responsibility to try to lynch the person who has behaved the scummiest. Granted, what is considered scummy will differ in everyone's eyes, but to just cross your fingers and throw a dart is irresponsible...or scummy.

So I just want to clarify your position.... you are saying that 'random vote' is a completely acceptable reason for a final vote on Day 1, right?

Not really. I'm saying that there are many people that look (to a greater or lesser extent) scummy right now. You might as well pick randomly (or nearly so) among them.

But, like you said, everyone's opinion of scummy differs. I think Grins is acting scummy. She'd rather play than engage in serious discussion as we are doing. There are others doing the same (I've engaged in a little silliness as well), but to me Grins is going above and beyond the required silly level... hence my vote.

If you have another preference, then I would be pleased to hear it and discuss the matter with you.

well Jo, early on in Day 1 votes fly like crazy, it's just what happens. When the ball comes down though and we begin to get to business, we come together with some good suspicions. Sometimes we even take a Mafia first night.

You know ILB, I know you're new and everything and I understood your story telling but I think your biggest mistake is in trying to explain it. Why do you want people to wonder about you? Is it like a teasing kind of joy for you?
and then you end off with "a big plan" What's this all about? Usually, the town helps the town. If there are ideas, we discuss them amongst us so that everyone can give their thoughts. Sometimes one person's thoughts are not as good as someone elses or someone may have some good suggestions from your "big plan". So... is it a plan for us, the town, to discuss or for just you and someone else to know and us to find out?

Nope, have no issues with your Grins' vote... Just wanted to clarify your statement about riding random votes all the way to the lynch.

First of all I am not concerned with one early vote on me so leave it there until you find something real to vote against. If you'd simply attempt to engage me then perhaps you'd get a serious conversation. But to suggest that someone won't when you've not tried is more telling of your intentions than mine.

I hope he does stay on me if he is guilty frankly. It will only be a tell for those looking at his actions.

I don't have to engage you in conversation. It's not my issue. I'm just saying what I'm basing my vote on.

The second paragraph is just silly. You're acting suspicious. It's not my fault that you are. If I vote for you and you are innocent, then I'm sorry.

Keep in mind that as of this point, there are only four mafia. The chances are that you are innocent, I just don't have anyone else that I would rather put my vote on at this point.
