OMG!!! I just had the police come to my house, someone has been calling 911 with my phone! It is an old phone I have and it has no minutes on it, but they said even with no minutes you can still call 911...well, I told them I would check my daughters back pack when she gets home, and they said ok...then I got a call, whoever it was had called 911 and cussed out the operater! Now, my daughter is only 8 and in school, I can't imagine it could be her...but I called the school and had them ask her about the phone, she said she doesn't have it, they didn't check her backpack though...but I don't know how/when she could be doing this in school, I think she must of had it and lost it or something!

Ok, back to our game now...sorry just had to tell ya's that, it really through me off!!

Mad- the only thing is I don't think anything stops the "pick" unless of coarse like you said, they had picked a lynched or UD person. It was stated though if they chose a member of the other Mafia team, they would appear as innocent and could actually be on both teams.

not scummy, just erratic, and a little out of character, ..I was having fun, and i intended to bring enough attention to myself, so as to not be chosen by mafia, I was not counting on mals crazy antics, to make me actually look like i was complete mafia, ..all i can say is, I am here to help teh town, and am willing to do so, ..i have read every post in this thread, and have not been skimming, nor not posting. .

OK, well, flawed and all, its my reasoning, I can't help, if I don't veiw things the same as you.
If you feel i am mafia, all i can do is tell you to vote me out, so you can then focus on real suspects, ..If thats the way i need to help the town, so be it, I don't know what it is here you expect of me?..I did not ask anyone to move their votes, and I certainly did not tell anyone to not vote grins, If she is mafia, she needs to go. period. old, new, whatever.

Whoa there hoss, I was just trying to show you that the votes could of saved either you or Grins. Following anyones logic you have to see that. It wasn't an inquisition and I'm not voting for you as there are better suspects. But the "vote me out if you don't believe me" card is old and faded, instead show me who you think is Mafia.

OK, after what happened last night I feel the best way for me to help find mafia is to go back to square one. No matter what anyone believes right now I sincerely thought Mal was a Don and JM was looking like her pick. I don't want to continue down the same path so I'm going to try to look at things with fresh eyes.

However, I appreciate that although that is my plan others have their own and still have suspicions about me. To leave those unaddressed would only be helping mafia so here goes my answers on the reasons I've seen people give for thinking I'm mafia. If I have missed something I invite you to please ask what you'd like.

• I can understand why this was said around the time that Joander first brought it up but for anyone to still think I've not been trying to root out any suspects means they are ignoring posts where I have listed my thoughts on people and explained why I thought what I did. They would also be ignoring questions I've asked of people and answers I've given to those asked of me. Yes I've had fun in playing the game, I'd hope we all do to some extent or we should perhaps all step away from future editions.

• I can't possibly address this issue except to guess I'm off because I'm sick. If you sincerely think it is something more than that please at least give me (and the rest of the town) the courtesy of trying to pinpoint it so that I can answer it for everyone. I'm not saying everyone that has said this is guilty, but I think we've all seen that when someone says this mafia will often jump on claiming a gut feeling because they know they can plant doubt without having to back it up.

• Maybe this meant I didn't freak out when questioned about the Ogre thing? If so I simply didn't need to. If JM hadn't of gone wiggy (to use Mad's word) on us I doubt anything else would have been said by anyone until Ogre had come in to answer it. Most of the posts then were in trying to explain Ogre's leaving off the word "just". I believed then that it may have been a typo sort of oversight (shoot we all know I make them don't we?) but I'd have been a pretty bad townie to not consider what Cory had brought up. And I'd have been even worse to not address JM's behavior during that time.

• First of all thank you for the compliments. Although I do have to laugh a little bit at the irony of me being thought of as a power player probably has to do with how I have played an aggressive game since knowing full well my newbie card was expired after the first game. I'm being damned for playing as I did when an innocent. If I played any less of an aggressive game I'd probably be damned for changing my style.

• Again, I've always done this. Why wouldn't someone ask others in the game about the style of those they haven't played with before? I'd be negligent to not do so. And Mad, as for why I didn't ask others about the credibility of King's style at the same time...I'd have thought that obvious due to all of us (well not Mal) knew without a doubt that King was 100% innocent at that time. He had credibility in other words.

• Well I guess this one negates me being a powerplayer, because if I have learned anything at all about playing this game it is that someone like Ice would be investigated or hit the first night. So would Hooked, Mad, or DD. If I had been a don there is no way I'd have jeopardized numbers by picking someone so likely to get hit or investigated. Sincerely, give me a little credit. If I had been a Don I'd have picked someone middle of the road that I knew but might not be quite so high on everyone else's watchlist.

• I've seen this same type of error unfortunately be jumped on in the past and I supsect all that have played before have as well. My first game as a member of the Grinch team we mafia all jumped on DD about it to make her look guilty to the town..she was Santa by the way and the error was nothing more than an error. I did not post emails and I instead posted quotes from posts. That is clearly in evidence as the trail of posts would show. I've also never communicated with a team member via email in the game. Nor have I ever communicated what I would say via email in a game (except to a game mod when I was given a power role)

• No, I was suggesting that questions about the email thing above be addressed to people other than myself if i wasn't being believed. People in the current game that would have knowledge of past play as a communicating team would again be Blue, Clown, Hooked, Ice & JM. I risk one of them being mafia and twisting the answer but I'm having some faith they can't all be mafia and their replies would be kept honest due to that.

• I really don't see why this is believed. I've voted for my own reasons and I've certainly not switched willy nilly on my votes. In fact, if anything I've been accused of having tunnelvision. And that I won't defend because while I had reason to believe those I suspected at the time I do have to agree my vision has not been broad enough in this game.

OK, I think that was the basic consensus of those that expressed a reason for why they suspected me. For the mafia members reading this, yes jump up in glee that I've just basically presented a case on me if you wish but people are not stupid and they'll see anything that looks shifty on your part. So if you wish to go after me have at it but bring your A game.

To everyone else, I'm now going to go back to nightfall and catch up and see what I can do to help sort out who is who.

I'm heading home from work, and tonight is a date night with the wife, but I wanted to say I think some good information has come out today and I feel better about some people and have doubts about others. I really would like to hear from emo, cooldude, beth, and the others that I have not played with before. The lack of posts leave me little to go on, emo is the center of that problem.

You're right, I forgot to add you and KOTD in from the initial list and forgot to include Jo's UD.

All the good stuff seems to have been examined at this point. However, I thought I'd throw this bit I noticed out there. Check out who was on ILB early... Mal, bkw, and King. Notice where the last two ended up... in fact you could almost say that they were the train leaders.

Now, at the time there's almost no chance that King could have been mafia... I say ALMOST because who the heck knows what's going on here. But bkw could be an excellent candidate. Quiet, but can put together a good post when he needs to.

There's something in there... I just can't see it right now.

Forgot the 1st post got called away from the comp.

Since Grins had mentioned the past 2 games I thought she meant when she was communicating. I know when we were evil together I made the mistake of telling her to email me and I'd answer her from work. I know HN complained about long IMs and I've been there too.

Ok, so you DID communicate through email to Ice when evil...I'm assuming with long and many emails.

Are you now buying what is being shoveled? JM and others are attempting to make people forget about her and Mal's bizzaro posting yesterday and unfortunately a typo might be the means of getting away with it.



You did say you'd answer any questions in emails then yes, but at the very least tell them you never coached me with text like you did for MeeMee. And HN if you see this I'd at least appreciate that as well. And Clown sure knows that I can bug a mod to hell and back when I have a secretive role. :lipssealedsmilie:

This was Hn's answer to the question...looks to me when communicating you say quite a bit to them. What he said "true, but you did do that...is from my post and he highlighted the part I am going to in the post below...

Ok...now I kinda feel bad, but that isn't what I was meaning. I know who all you have communicated with. You said I could ask anyone you communicated with in past games or THIS game...I took that as, you were communicating with someone in THIS game for me to ask.
I have no doubt what you type are your own words, and didn't mean I thought you waited on email to come up with stuff worded by others. I just have a tendency to believe you probably send what you are going to type to your team mates letting them know what you are going to type about, and most likely the posts (multi-quotes) that you are going to comment about in email.

lol, no doubt. If I was mafia I'd probably smack me too. As you will hopefully testify I have a habit of running my mouth when an innocent AND of making typos that aren't spelling related such as the one I did in the pirate game by mixing up JM/DD/Blue's names.

I know LadyG and I BOTH said last game that we'd not have hit HN on night one we'd investigate him first. Were you one of those saying it then because in my medicated state I think I remember you being someone who said you would hit him?

I'm not quite clear on this...if you were mafia you would slap you too, but because you have a habit of running your mouth when innocent???

Well I've been suffering from a migrane today and have gone back and done some reading again in between trying to get rid of this pain.. However there was a post that I felt was directed at me with a hint only I would understand.. Because I don't want to make a mistake and vote out an innocent. So as of this point I'm going with my second choice just because the chance does exist that I am reading this person wrong.. While I do believe that Grins has posts that are making her "look" innocent my new vote really hasn't done anything for the town and went so far as to make a post that I expected her to make after a simple statement.

So, was that "hint" for Clown Grins??? I haven't seen you say anything about this.

I seem to remeber in a previous game Grins stating that she drove someone nuts with all her emails to them,....thinking it was ice...not sure on that tho, in the after game banter.

Again someone else (who btw, you mentioned) has also agreed to the whole email thing...see, it looks to me more like that was a "slip" not a typo.

Unfortunately Z, you've not had the opportunity to play with me in the last few games. If you had voted for me the last 2 games for the same abundance of posts and long quoted emails you'd have voted to lynch an innocent. As for whether I take day one serious at all, I'd disagree with that considering this day one has been 3 days and I've not been ignoring the game the majority of the time.

All that aside I do not envy your needing to read this backlog of posts to catch up.

In case anyone would like to see the post again to refresh...this is the one that started the "email" thing....it COULD be a typo, but I have a feeling it was a slip...why would anyone (not communicating) even think of "email" instead of posts???

Emails? I only have posts to read, luckily I don't have to read any emails, Freudian slip? On one hand reading all the posts is a pain, on the other it makes the whole plot very fresh in my mind when concluding who to vote for. And I agree it is a shame I do not have other game data to compare you against, but I think I am doing ok.

Ummm, Grins...what emails??? Is this a slip or a typo..why would you have long quoted emails, were you sending them to your team mate seeing what they think of it before you posted it??

I have been trying to decide between...Grins, Mal, and Jmax for my vote. This right here may of made my choice for me... You may of meant to say "posts" and not emails but then the reference to how he would have voted an innocent the last two games also makes me wonder. Your posts really have been full of really nothing just long and tedious when trying to read, and as I said before I think you are TRYING to hard to look innocent.

What Mal pulled if not mafia tatics was deff anti-town. I dont think it either proved Jmax's innocents or guilt. At this point im goin to hav to just read thru post cause i got nothing.
